The Mission is in the Name

The number one question we get is ‘why the name Arya?’
…It’s because ‘Arya’ embodies our values.

Arya is a Sanskrit word that means ‘noble’, ‘distinguished’, ‘illustrious’. Or in Hebrew, ‘Aria’ means lion…the noble king of the jungle. The Eastern philosophy of Buddhism gives the name ‘Arya’ to warriors.
All of these meanings define our mission.
We want to work with the modern-day noble warrior. Those with a competitive spirit that seek excellence in themselves every day. Those that understand that the values of discipline, commitment, effort, and attitude – along with a sense of humor and pure enjoyment - are what help us to express our humanity to the fullest.

Although the old-school football coach might think otherwise, people don’t run for punishment. They run because it makes them feel good. It makes them feel accomplished. It makes them feel like a better version of themselves.
We understand that seeking the best version of ourselves is not only good for us individually, but for everyone else around us.
In a nutshell, Arya is about helping you be a better version of you, through the avenue of sport.
People aren’t born great, they choose it.
Choose to be great. Choose Arya.
